奧布陳仔的大聲公

　　今晚去看高雄燈會，滿布空中的絢麗花火映入我眼底，伴著光榮碼頭的涼涼海風，突然之間，我好感激老天把我生在高雄，讓我得以生活在這座充滿理想與夢想的都市。

　　轉身，打狗亂歌團的嚴詠能輕聲唱著，唱著我們台灣人的生活，唱著我們與土地的故事，唱著我們對Formosa的祈願；也許平日的我有些不苟言笑，但此刻遇上了這種如此貼近靈魂的感動，就連我這塊木頭也對曲中純真的夢想忍俊不住，眼眶也為了詞中婉轉卻堅定的理想而泛紅。

　　其實，咱的台灣，沒親像伊講的，那呢歹。

The Summary of the Speech of the Chief of the AIT in Taiwan Kaohsiung

Chris Castro was born in Massachusetts where the American Revolutionary War began, and it is also the birthplace of the Boston Red Sox. Castro always wanted to study in an international, political, social university when he was young, so he decided to go into Georgetown University to read up Foreign Service. He has been in Taiwan to study in the National Chengchi University as an exchange student for a year in 1987, and then joined the United States Department of State to become an American diplomat in 1988.

When he was studying in Taiwan, he found that the CKS (蔣介石)’s portrait was everywhere, and all the news that was not favorable to KMT (國民黨)’s autocratic governance was banned.

After twenty years, he came back to Taiwan to take up his duties as the Chief of the American Institute in Taiwan Kaohsiung Branch Office in 2008. He was very surprised to see the improvement of human rights in Taiwan, and he thinks that Lee Teng-hui(李登輝) was an important symbol of Taiwan’s democracy.

According to the speech, Castro seems to adore his duties as a diplomat and the country he served very much. This is why I am so surprised and confused to see a Taiwan’s diplomat Kuo Kuan-Ying(郭冠英) insults his own country, and discriminates the other race in the Taiwan’s society. The most serious problem is that he actually hopes the China government can send army to eliminate those who hope that Taiwan can become a normal country.

翻開行事曆，從劇本分發給演員們也經過將近兩個月了。

四月十一日，又是一次萊茵盃的結束，各位的心裡一樣是空空蕩蕩的黯然散場。

無論假日或課後，本班的十一位演員在五十幾個日子裡聚在一起排練，在薪傳劇場、在文園穿堂都看得到我們的身影。
